Weekly lessons are important and kids need to know that, for example, “my piano lesson is Tuesdays at 4:00 pm.”

But, real life means having time off from lessons for vacations, school events and other special times that come up during the year.  We need to balance consistent lesson times with life.

How much is monthly tuition? Unlike other studios that have a set monthly payment, tuition at Courante Music is variable and based on the actual number of lessons scheduled per month.  Each student has their own lesson day and time, but you only pay for the lessons we schedule for the upcoming month. You do not pay for lesson times that occur during planned vacations, school events or other special times. This “look-ahead” planning allows for flexibility while maintaining regular lessons. Since students do best with regular attendance, most weeks will look the same. Your total yearly cost of attendance will be less than other studios who have strict attendance/payment policies.

I am able to offer this business model because I am free from the financial constraints many studios face. 

Monthly tuition is due prior to the first lesson of each month. If you are ill and cannot attend a scheduled lesson, please call as soon as possible before the scheduled lesson and you will be credited toward a future lesson. Otherwise, tuition is not refundable.
